The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in few TV shows and films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Swimer-directed version of Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the show the podcast Numbered Day made up of four plays.
